Once again, Felipe Arcila brings us something truly special — this Maragesha Natural is a standout, bursting with personality and depth.

Floral, Cherry, Cane Sugar, Stone Fruits, and Silky.
Expect fruity complexity, a silky body, and vibrant sweetness. With every brew, this coffee reveals something new: tropical and juicy on one sip, then floral and refined the next. It's a dynamic filter that keeps evolving over time — we love that.

 

About the variety:

Maragesha is a rare hybrid of Maragogype and Gesha, first crossed in 2017 at Finca Villa Betulia. It brings the clarity and elegance of Gesha, combined with the creamy texture and volume of Maragogype — a beautiful balance of both worlds.

 

Processing details:

This lot underwent a 24-hour dry aerobic fermentation, then rested for 50 hours in GrainPro bags under 22 °C. After fermentation, cherries were slowly dried on raised beds until they reached 11% moisture. A precise natural process that locks in complexity and flavour clarity.

 

Meet the producer:

Felipe Arcila and his brother Carlos are fourth-generation coffee producers, continuing the legacy of their father, Jairo Arcila. Their focus? Pushing boundaries with rare varieties and innovative processing. You might remember Jairo’s Strawberry Infused Castillo from Santa Mónica — another one of our favourites.
